About
Use the NINO generator to create a valid NINO number.
The algorithm used to generate the NINO code merely follows a given pattern. Generated NINOs are possibly not even real and should not be used for any illegal activity.
What is NINO?
The NINO (National Insurance number) is used in the United Kingdom in the administration of the National Insurance or social security system. It is also used for some purposes in the UK tax system.
The format is two prefix letters, six digits, and one suffix letter. Example: BN102966C. Often printed with spaces: BN 10 29 66 C. (wikipedia)
Generation and Validation of NINO
The first two letters cannot be D, F, I, Q, U or V. The second letter also cannot be O. Prefixes BG, GB, NK, KN, TN, NT and ZZ are not allocated. The suffix is A, B, C, or D.
Using the tool
This tool was developed for programmers and testers who have the constant need to enter different NINO numbers in developing forms.
